BURY VICTIMS TODAY

Funerals of Men and Women in Car Crash in Three Towns.

Ben Blade, the only survivor of the accident near Anthon Saturday night, in which Miss Hazel Anderson, of Anthon, Sara Short and George Blade, of Correctionville, the latter a brother of Ben Blade, were killed almost instantly when two gasoline railroad cars crashed together, is slowly recovering at the home of Frank Beers near Anthon but has no recollection of the accident in which his three acquaintances were killed. He received a blow over the right eye and several cuts and bruises on his body.

Funeral services for Miss Anderson will be held this morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church at Anthon. Burial will be at Anthon. The funeral of George Blade will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Smithland and burial will be at that place. The body of Mr. Short was sent to Pierson, where the funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the cemetery at Pierson.

CAR CRASH VICTIMS BURIED.

Funeral Services, for Three Held Yesterday.

Funeral services for Miss Hazel Anderson, of Anthon, and Sam Short, George Blade, of Correctionville, who were instantly killed near Anthon Saturday night in a gasoline railway car collision, were held yesterday.

The funeral of Miss Anderson was held in the morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church at Anthon. Burial was in the Catholic cemetery at Anthon.

Funeral services for Mr. Blade were held at 2 o'clock at Smithland. The body of Mr. Short was sent to Pierson where the funeral was held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
