Mrs. Frances Bennett, 71 died Tuesday morning in her home, 701 River drive, after an illness of a week. She had resided here 42 years.

She was born June 11, 1874 In Delavan, Wis. She was married October 8, 1894, to Elijah Bennett in Woonsocket S. D.

Mrs. Bennett was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church.

Surviving are the widower; five sons, Edward, Harry, LeRoy, Fred and William, all of Sioux City, three daughters, Mrs. E. G. Brenick of Bethel, Wash., Mrs. Marie Erickson and Mrs. Frances Bolton, both of Sioux City; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert of Mitchell, S. D., and three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Burke of San Diego, Cal., Mrs. Catherine Meckler of Lusk, Wyo., and Mrs. James Donohue of Parker, S. D.

The Larkin funeral home has charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Bennett, who died Tuesday at her home, 701 River Drive, after an illness of a week, will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at Sacred Heart church. Rev. P. J. Durkin will officiate. Burial will in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8:30 o'clock this evening at the Larkin funeral home, where the body will remain until time of services.
