MRS. ELLA M. HOUK

Mrs. Ella M. Houk, 81, 3620 Vine Avenue, died early Monday morning in a hospital here, after an illness of one month.

She was born June 5, 1864, at Harrisonville, O., and was married to William C. Houk there July 11, 1884. They moved to Ida County in 1887 and came to Sioux City in 1914 where they have since resided.

Mrs. Houk was a member of Grace Methodist church, the Women's organizations of the church and Martha Washington chapter, D. A. R.

Survivors besides the widower are one son, Ivan E. Houk of Denver; four daughters, Miss Neva A. Houk of Sioux City; Mrs. Orlan L. Liming of San Bernardino, Cal., Mrs. Frances Hay of Portland, and Mrs. Roy Gage of North Hollywood, Cal., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy chapel in Morningside.

The funeral of Mrs. Ella M. Houk, 81, 3620 Vine avenue, who died early Monday in a hospital here, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday in the W. Harry Christy Morningside chapel. Rev. John Buthman will Officiate and interment will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
