Mrs. Joanna Marie Lynen, 83, resident of Sioux City for 28 years, died Thursday morning at her home, 712 S. Fairmount Street.

Mrs. Lynen was born January 25, 1863, in Holland, and came to the United States 32 years ago, coming to Sioux City four years later.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. P. Van Waart and Mrs. J. Van Waart, both of Sioux City; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday at St. Casimir's Catholic church. Rev. George G. M. Cesna will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body will remain at Perasso Bros funeral home until the services.
