AMANDA E. SIMMONS

The funeral of Mrs. Amanda E. Simmons, 84, of Hawarden, la., had resided in Sioux City for half a century, will be held at 2 p. m. today, in the Barnard funeral home in Hawarden. Additional services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in Graceland Park chapel here.

Rev. Noel Orcutt of Hawarden will officiate. Mrs. Simmons formerly had resided in Morningside and Leeds. She died Saturday night in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Carl Olsen of Hawarden.

Surviving are the daughter, and a son in British Columbia.
