22 November 1943William Swift Irvine, 2601 Jones Street, died Sunday in a hospital after a long illness.
A son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Irvine pioneer resident, he was born in Sioux City, attended schools here and continued his education at London, Ontario. The greater part of his life had been Lived in Chicago.
Mr. Irvine was a veteran of the Spanish-American war. He was a member of the Episcopal church.
Surviving are a sister. Miss Leah Irvine, Sioux City, and five cousins, J. W. Hubbard. Miss Ella Hubbard and Mrs. Fred Wattles, all of Sioux City, and Henry Hubbard. Puerto Rico, and Miss Pattie Swift, San Francisco.
The body was taken to the West-Heaton funeral home.
