H. C. Lee, 79, died at his home, 1414 Center Street, early Sunday morning of a heart attack. He was born July 12, 1864, in Lee County, la., moved to Sioux City 40 years ago and married 43 years ago. His wife died in 1939. He was a member of the Crescent Park Methodist church.

Survivors include a son, A. E. Lee, and a daughter, Mrs. Ellis Baurette, both of Sioux City; a brother, William F., Nodaway, la.; five sisters, Mrs. Fannie McClure of Lake Park, la., Mrs. Jennie Shaver of Granite Falls, Minn., Mrs. Ida Reynolds of Lincoln, Neb, Mrs. Anna Rose of Julesburg, Colo., and Mrs. Laura Smith, Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at W. Harry Christy's funeral chapel, 711 Myrtle Street. Rev. Arthur Dyson will officiate. Interment will be in Logan Park cemetery.
