Carl T. Clemensen, 68, Elk Point, S. D, died in a Sioux City hospital Thursday.

Mr. Clemensen, a lifetime resident of Union County, was born September 4, 1875. December 31, 1921, he married Margaret Granning. Mr. Clemensen farmed north of Elk Point until 17 years ago, since then he has been a resident of Elk Point.

Surviving besides the widow and two children, Chahott of Elk Point and Tillman, with the navy in the south Pacific, is a sister, Betzie Swartz, Sioux City.

Mr. Clemensen was confirmed in 1890 and has been a member of the Lutheran church since that time.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Monday in the home and at 2 p. m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church. Rev. D. L. Jacobson will officiate. Anderson's funeral home, Elk Point, will have charge of funeral arrangements and burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harry Webber, Charles Kredall, Oliver Munson, Herman Hanson, Alfred Hanson and Angle Eilesen.
