James Robbins, 57 3501 Edmunds Avenue, a Sioux City resident for 30 years, died Wednesday evening in a hospital.

He was born January 7, 1889, in Champaign County, Ill. He had been a carpenter contractor here.

Survivors are the widow, Effie; a son, Marion of Albany, N. Y.; two daughters, Miss Marcian Robbins and Mrs. Effie Kieler, both of Sioux City; five brothers, Roy of White, S. D.; Earl of San Diego, Cal. Harry of Litchfield, Minn.; C. A. of Storm Lake, la., and Harvey of Tacoma, Wash.

The body was taken to the Anderson funeral home.
