Martha Ellen Cornman Peacock

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock' Monday afternoon at West’s funeral home for Mrs. Martha Allen Peacock, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. S. Mackay, 16I4 West Fourth street, Saturday, after a lingering illness. Rev. G. D. Serrill, pastor of the First Christian church, will officiate. fc burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.

Mrs. Peacock was born in Armstrong County, Pa., in 1853. When a child she moved with her parents to Iowa, near Winterset, in Madison County, where she lived until 12 years ago, when she moved to Sioux City to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mackay.

Mrs. Peacock was a member of the First Christian church.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A. S. Mackay, of Sioux City, Mrs. F. E. McKinney, of Ravinia, Neb., and Mrs. J. J. Cole, of Fremont, Neb.

Four sons also survive Mrs. Peacock. They are: Lawrence Peacock of Winterset, la., John Peacock, of Cresco, la., Owen Peacock, of Los Angeles, Cal., and Oscar Peacock, of Lime Springs, la.
