13 August 1896A.H. Strohm of Long Pine, Nebraska, arrived here last Saturday upon the sad mission of bringing the body of his wife for burial at her old home.
Mr. and Mrs. Strohm were old settlers here, having resided here for many years prior to moving to Nebraska some 12 years ago.
The body was laid at rest in the Union Ridge Cemetery, many old-time friends being in attendance. Deceased was about 48 years old and the immediate cause of her death was nervous prostration, though she had been in poor health for a long time.
