Born Dorothy Louise Neeve on February 13, 1952 to Richard and Eleanor Neeve of Zion, IL, Dorothy died Saturday, June 24, 2006 after being involved in an accident with a truck that struck her from behind on Interstate 35 near Hillsboro, TX along with her sister Suzie who held her hand as she slipped away from this present earth to caress the tender face of God who has prepared an eternal home for her.

Named "Dorothy" meaning "gift of God," she was indeed God's gift to everyone who knew her. In high school, Dorothy met Russell Schwarz. They married July 31, 1971. The day after their wedding, Russell and Dorothy moved to Minnesota where Russell enrolled at St. Paul Bible College. Russell studied for a ministry degree and Dorothy prepared to be a pastor's wife. After graduation in 1975, they were called to pastor the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Tracy, MN. In 1979, they accepted a call to East Lincoln Church in Amery, WI and in 1982 moved to Kodiak, Alaska where Russell and Dorothy served the Kodiak Bible Chapel for nearly 15 years.

In 1997, they moved to California and then in 2005 settled in San Antonio, TX. Dorothy was a woman of great faith and was loved, appreciated, and adored by everyone. Her heart and her home were always open. She was a loving wife, a tender mother, and an adoring grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Russell of San Antonio, TX; sons and daughters-in-law David and Robin Schwarz of St. Charles, IL; Paul and Michael Schwarz of Kodiak, AK; Mark and Kursten Schwarz of Medord, OR; Aaron and April Schwarz of Kent Washington; and 12 grandchildren.

She is also survived by her mother Eleanor Neeve of Zion, IL, brothers Rick and John Neeve,; and sisters Peg Minor; Linda Adamak; and Suzie Miller.
