Lowell Frank Richardson was born to Frank and Aurilla (Moon) Richardson at their farm near Lake Andes, South Dakota, on May 10, 1911, and passed away at his home in Sioux City on December 17, 1943, at the age of 32 years, 7 months and 7 days.

His early life was spent at Lake Andes. On May 24, 1935, he was united in marriage to Lavina Hopkins, also of Lake Andes. In the same year they moved to Correctionville and he was employed here until December 1941 when they left to engage in war work. He returned in late October of this year from employment on the Alaska highway, and at the time of his death he was employed by the Kriege Construction Co. His likeable disposition won him lasting friends wherever he was known and will be sincerely missed and long remembered by them.

His father and two brothers preceded him in death.
