LAWTON, Iowa - William J. Davis, 81, of Lawton died Tuesday in a Sioux City nursing home after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in McCulloch-Wavrin Funeral Home in Moville. The Rev. Robert E. Peters of the Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery at Lawton. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis was born Oct. 1, 1904, in rural Sioux City.

Survivors include two brothers, Charley and Glenn "Bud", both of Lawton and two sisters, Grace Anderson of Silver City and Nora Olsen of North Platte, Neb.
