Virginia A. Pieslak died Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, at Lowell from complications caused by a fall in her home.

Graveside Service will be performed at 3 p.m. on Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Devotion B section. Officiating the service is Pastor Joshua Potter.

Virginia was born April 4, 1937, to Paul and Nelly (McLane) Warner in Storm Lake, Iowa. She graduated from Sioux City Central High School in 1955. She served with the Air Force at Offutt Air Force Base from 1955 to 1957.

She married William A Pieslak, Oct. 2, 1959, in Sioux City. They relocated to Lowell in 1961. Two sons were born to this marriage, Michael and William.

After her divorce, Virginia shared 22 years with her companion Roger Godfroy until his death on May 5, 2005.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Susan) of Lowell, and William of Tyngsboro, Mass.; granddaughter, Julie Pieslak of Lowell; brother "Butch" (Rose) Warner of Sioux City; brother-in-law Floyd Lucart of Sioux City; and many nieces and nephews in the Sioux City area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
