LAWTON, -Iowa - Anna C. Anderson, 88, of rural Lawton died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bethel Lutheran Church, Lawton. The Rev. Mark Buchhop will officiate. Burial will be in the Lawton Cemetery under the direction of the Christy Morningside Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson, the former Anna Hinrichs, was born Aug. 8, 1895, near Kingsley. She married Magnus Anderson April 23, 1917, in Sioux City. They farmed in the Lawton area. He died February 1963 at Lawton and she continued living on the farm. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Wahl of Sioux City and Betty Frahm of Galva; two sons, Lyall and Bruce, both of Lawton; one brother, John of Lawton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
