Funeral services for John V. Youll, 66, who died Wednesday at his home in Pierson after a long illness, will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Pierson Methodist church. Rev. H. E. Hutchinson, retired, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Merlin Davies, pastor of the church. Burial will be in the Pierson cemetery under direction of the Dickison funeral home of Kingsley, la.

Mr. Youll was born February 12, 1894 at Battle Creek, la.

He married Wilkie Osborn on September 1, 1915, at Danbury.

He was employed by the Sioux City Gas and Electric Co for several, years before moving to Pierson where he operated a plumbing, heating and electrical shop.

He was a member of the Pierson Methodist church and Rutland lodge, A. F. & A. M., of Pierson.

Survivors include the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Wahl of Pierson, Mrs. Eleanor Murken of Canby, Minn., Mrs. Ruth Pahl of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Gladys Sparks of Downey, Cal.; four sons, J. Rollo and George, both of Sac City, la., Ralph of Iowa Falls, la., and Jim of Anthon; two brothers, Dr. D. S. Youll of Springfield, Mo., and Vernon of Farmington, Minn., and 22 grandchildren.
