MRS. FLOYD WALTERS, 60, -Cherokee, Iowa -- Dead on arrival Sioux Valley Hospital Feb. 14. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 United Methodist Church, Pierson, the Rev. Forest M. Lay. Burial Greenwood Cemetery, Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley.

Born Jan. 24, 1912 in Indiana. Former Alice Davis. Married 1931 in Sioux City. Couple lived in Pierson. She operated nursing home several years; moved to Cherokee 1967, employed at Iowa Mental Health Institute. Mr. Walters died 1953.

Survivors, Son, Donald of Cherokee; daughter, Mrs. Gene (Wilma) Hagan of Le Mars; brothers, Art Davis of Gray Summit, Mo., "Doc" Davis of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters; Mrs. Carl Dysan and Mrs. Robert Robb, both of Gray Summit; seven grandchildren; two step-sons, "Bucky" Walters of Freeland, Wash., Cecil Walters of Portland, Ore.
