Funeral services for Charles O. Wahl Sr., 84, of Pierson, who died Thursday at Brainerd, Minn., while on vacation, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Christian Church at Pierson. The Rev. Phillip Kiston will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Pierson, with the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home of Kingsley, Iowa, in charge.

Mr. Wahl married Jennie Strohm Jan. 30, 1901 at the farm home of her parents near Pierson. They farmed near Pierson until 1944, when they retired and moved into Pierson. Mr. Wahl was an elder of the Christian Church for several years.

Survivors include two sons, Dorris of Sioux City and Charles Jr. of Pierson; two daughters, Dorothy of Pierson and Mrs. Ellsworth Woods of Keokuk, Iowa; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
