Funeral services for Luther Shank, 66, a longtime resident of Pierson, who died Saturday of a heart attack while working at the Clint Bierman farm near Pierson, will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Pierson Methodist church. Rev. Merlin Davies will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery under direction of the Dickison funeral home.

Mr. Shank was born February 24, 1896 at Myersville, Md. He married Mae Elliott May 21, 1929.The couple farmed near Pierson until retiring to Pierson in 1947. Mrs. Shank died in 1954.

Survivors include four sisters and a half-brother.
