Mrs. L. Rock, 83, Dies; Rites to Be Sunday at Pierson

Pierson, la. Special: The funeral for Mrs. Louise Rock, 83, a resident of this community for more than 50 years who died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital, will be held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Methodist church here.

Rev. H. E. Hutchinson will officiate and burial will be in the Pierson cemetery. The Osborn funeral home has charge of arrangements.

She was born April 15, 1865, in Germany. She came to America when 17. Her husband, Chris, died several years ago.

Survivors include three sons, Louis, Herman and Henry and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Knaack and Mrs. Hertha Rock of Pierson.
