Louie L. Fey, 88, Anthon, a retired farmer, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church at Anthon. The Rev. Donald Harbour will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Branch Cemetery under direction of the Walter Funeral Home of Anthon.

Mr. Fey was born Dec. 18, 1884, at Wheatland, Iowa. He moved to Anthon as a young man, and he farmed in the Anthon community until retiring to Anthon in 1949.

He married Grace Jones Dec. 4, 1912, in Sioux City. She died Aug. 21, 1972, at Anthon.

Survivors include three sons, Arnold of Marcus, Iowa, Frank of Correctionville, and Paul of Guthrie, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. George (Mae Maurine) Sargent and Mrs. Jake (Margurite) Kobs, both of Anthon; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Ackerman of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Amelia Runkle of Davenport, Iowa, Mrs. Florentina Crelly of Lisbon, Iowa, and Mrs. Lizzie Thompson of Anthon; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
