CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa - Mrs. Charles Croxell, 96, Correctionville, died Saturday in Valley View Nursing Home, Correctionville, following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Barker Funeral Home, Correctionville. The Rev. Steve Steele, pastor of the Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch.

Mrs. Croxell, the former Anna Anderson, was born Oct. 26, 1880, in Amboy, Ill. She moved to Arthur at age 2. She was married to Champion Pultz March 22, 1900. He died and she moved to Correctionville in 1929. She was married to Mr. Croxell Oct. 24, 1934, in Correctionville. He died.

She had resided in the nursing home for the past 12 years.

Survivors include two brothers, Edward of Dawson Creek, Canada, and John of Parma, Ohio: a grandchild and four great-grandchildren.
