CHEROKEE, Iowa - Fred E. Clark, 83, Cherokee, died Aug. 1 in Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee of brief illness. Services will be at 9 a.m. Aug. 4 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Cherokee. The Rev. Alfred McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in Rock Branch, Iowa. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and 3 at Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee. Mr. Clark was born April 4, 1892, at Anthon, Iowa. He married Rosella Mullinnex June 18, 1916. Mr. Clark farmed for many years in the Cherokee area before retiring and moving into Cherokee.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Guy (Eva) Rupp of Littleton, Colo.; a son Keith of Cherokee; 19 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren.
