BRUNE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Brune, wife of Louis Brune, of Pierson, la., were held yesterday afternoon at Kidd's undertaking rooms. The body was sent to Pierson for burial.

Louise Brune was born July 27, 1861, at Herbsen in Waldeck, Germany and died November 30, 1914, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Sioux City, having attained the age of 53 years, 4 months and 3 days.

She was married March 13, 1889, to Louis Brune and to them were born six children, of whom five with her husband survive to mourn her departure. Of her nine brothers and sisters, Louis, Henry, Charles and Chris and Sophie of Dixon, Iowa, were present at the funeral and a brother-in-law, Jens Peterson, also of Dixon, her aged parents living in Dixon are too far advanced in years to come to the funeral.

Funeral services were held in the Rock Branch church and interment made in the cemetery at that place.
