KINGSLEY. Iowa - Lucille H. Bohle, 91, of Kingsley passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kingsley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, rural Correctionville, Iowa. Visitation will begin 2 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Johnson-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley. Visitation will resume one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be directed through www.mauerjohnson.com.

Lucille Henrietta Bohle was born on Nov. 27, 1916, in Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of George and Ruby (Waugh) Luckel. She attended school at Miller Center 8 and Anthon High School.

On April 14, 1937, Lucille and Willie Bohle were united in marriage at the Rock Branch Methodist Parsonage. The couple made their home on a farm in Rutland Township. Along with farming, Lucille also operated an upholstery shop from their home. Willie passed away on May 10, 1982. Lucille moved to the Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center on Jan. 4, 2000.

In early years, Lucille was a member of the Rock Branch Methodist Church. She later transferred her membership to Kingsley United Methodist Church. Lucille enjoyed traveling, quilting, card playing and square dancing. She belonged to numerous clubs and participated in several activities throughout the years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Robert Bohle and his wife, Carole of Harrisonville, Mo., Ronald Bohle and his wife, Marsha of Pierson, Iowa, and Donna Harris and her husband, Ron of Sioux City, 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a daughter-in-law, Elaine Todd and her husband. Ray of Kingsley; a sister, Opal Sand of Anthon, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Ruby Gernhart of Kingsley and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie; a son, Dean; and three brothers, George, Don and Norman.
