Mrs. Rebecca Renneker, 79, long time resident of the Anthon vicinity, died Monday night in her home three miles northwest of Anthon after a sickness of two years. She suffered a stroke last Thursday and did not regain consciousness. Mrs. Renneker came to Woodbury County in 1906.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Anthon Methodist church and burial will be in the Lucky Valley cemetery west of Anthon under the direction of Hudgel's funeral parlors. Rev. F. C. Preul of Quimbzy and Rev. F. O. Johnson of Anthon will officiate.

Survivors include two sons, James and Frank, both of Anthon and four daughters, Mrs. Effie Keil of Springfield, Ill., Mrs. Lizzie Acre of Fort Morgan, Colo., Mrs. Grace Lamb of Anthon and Mrs. Hazel O'Shaughnessy of Milbank, S. D. Mr. Renneker died in 1907.
