S. W. Hoult, Moville, died there, Thursday night at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Cleve Mullinnex, on the even (eve) of his 88th birthday anniversary. He had resided in Moville eight years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hoult home and at 2:30 p. m. at the Moville Federated church. Rev. Mr. Yeager will officiate. Interment will be in Lucky Valley cemetery near Moville. Stile's funeral home at Moville has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hoult was born March 26, 1855, in Marysville County, West Virginia. His parents came to Woodbury County when he was 14 years old and settled west of Anthon. In 1883 he married Kota Bennett.

Surviving are five children, John W. Hoult of Sioux City, Emily Dicus of Craig, Colo.; Anna Mullinnex of Moville, Ruth Slaughter of Bethany, Mo. and Opal Warren of Orland, Cal., 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
