STROKE VICTIM PASSES AWAY

Alex Wight, County Resident 42 Years, Dies Here.

A paralytic stroke, suffered 11 months ago was fatal Tuesday to Alex Wight, of Luton, Ia., a resident of Woodbury County for the past 42 years. He was 66 years old.

Mr. Wight died at a Sioux City hospital where he was brought from his home recently when his condition became critical.

Born in Ohio in 1862, he lived there until he was 24 years old, when he came to Iowa and settled in Woodbury County at Luton, where he had made his home since.

Mr. Wight was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge of Luton, of which he was a past grand. His wife, formerly Jane Montgomery, of Luton, preceded him in death 13 years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Harry, Sidney, Lester and Bruce and a daughter, Gladys, all of Luton.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed. The body is at Christy's undertaking parlors.
