Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Sutton, 77, of Smithland, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Oto. The Rev. Thomas J. Munn will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery under the direction of the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney, Iowa. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sutton died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. The former Tracy Gertrude Sihrepfer, she was born Oct. 31, 1890, at Ida Grove, Iowa. She had been a resident of Smithland since 1928. She was married to Mr. Sutton in 1914. He died in 1960.

Survivors include a son, Harold of Smithland.
