Charlene Poulson, Foley, Alabama, died in the Foley Hospital on October 13, 1989, following a long illness. Death came at the age of 68 years and six days.

She was born October 7,1921, at Wapello, Iowa, the daughter of Charles C. Clark and Grace Todd Clark. She was united in marriage with Floyd Poulson at Carroll, Iowa on February 21, 1939. The couple had celebrated over 50 years of marriage. They lived in the Rockwell City, Iowa, area for over 40 years during which time Charlene was a member of the Round Robin Club and was an Avon Representative for 20 years. After that the couple enjoyed traveling the United States for 10 years and for the past year lived in Foley.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, Foley, Alabama; her two sons, Erwin, Moyie Springs, Idaho and Roland, Tucson, Arizona; her daughter, Amie Holder and husband Steve, of Rockwell City, Iowa; her brother. George Clark and wife Hazel of Tucson; her brother, Ed Clark and wife Bev of Athens, Alabama; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Harold of Phoenix, Arizona; and daughter, Wanda Jean Kelsheimer of Oto, Iowa.

Bearers were Tod Poulson, Donnie Poulson, Floyd Holder, Mark Kelsheimer, Matt Kelsheimer and Phil Holder.

Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery at Oto, Iowa, with arrangements by the Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, Iowa.
