Norma Christina Christensen, 78, of Sioux City, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 1996, at Indian Hills Care Center.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at Morningside Baptist Church with the Rev. Dave Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church. Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Christensen was born July 1, 1918, in Holly Springs, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence F. and Minnie (Unkel) Weber. She graduated from Holy Springs High School and attended NBT School in Sioux City.

She married Paul Christensen Feb. 17, 1946, in Holly Springs. The couple farmed near Holly Springs and retired to Sioux City in 1989. He died June 22, 1995.

Mrs. Christensen was a member of St. John Evangelical Church in Holly Springs.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauletta Raymond and her husband, Mark of Sioux City; two brothers, Cecil Weber of Sioux City and Merald Weber of Dakota City; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Meyers and Keaton Raymond.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.

Pallbearers will be Dick Morgan, Bob Edlund, Rich DeBoer and Paul Grause.
