Michael Dean Vaughn, 68, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center, Sioux City, Iowa.

Per Michael’s wishes, cremation has occurred. A celebration of life will be held when warmer weather arrives and when there are less covid-19 restrictions. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Michael Dean Vaughn was born October 2, 1952 in Onawa, Iowa the son of LeRoy Edward and Neva Lorraine (Davis) Vaughn.

He worked for Virtue Engineering in Onawa, Iowa for most of his life and various construction companies with his brothers.

Michael enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, and loved traveling.

Michael was an amazing, fun, loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was proud of his seventeen grandchildren. He lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with all his family. He always made people laugh with his humor and displayed his best smile.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Vaughn and her husband Russell Schill, Jackie Woolsonscroft and her husband Justin, Beau Vaughn, and Amanda Vaughn all of Omaha, Nebraska; seventeen grandchildren; his brothers, twin brother: Rick of Onawa, Iowa, Steve and his wife Cindy of Blencoe, Iowa, and Dave and his wife Becky of Castana, Iowa; sister-in-law, Roxanne Vaughn of Omaha, Nebraska; many nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Neva (Davis) Vaughn; brother, John Vaughn; and significant other of many years, Linda Teeters.
