Elmer Everett Linscott, 90, longtime Sloan area farmer, died Friday at his home at Sloan after a brief illness.

Mr. Linscott was born September 28, 1866, at Stockport, Ohio. He married Frances Carey Beebe February 12, 1896. He had lived in the Sloan area virtually since that time.

Survivors include the widow: five sons, Nathan, Merrill, Cecil, Calvary and Wayne, all of Sloan; five daughters Mrs. C. E. Sumner, Mrs. Howard Bray and Mrs. Milo Hunter, all of Sloan, Mrs. Howard Myers of Onawa, and Mrs. Harold McKain of Mission, Kan.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Sloan Christian church with Rev. John Coatsworth officiating. Burial be in Holly Springs cemetery under direction of Hilts funeral home, Sloan.
