The Obituary of Mrs. Frances Carrie Linscott

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Carrie Linscott, 80, who died Thursday, November 13th, at her home at Sloan, after a long illness, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 15th, at the Christian Church at Sloan. Rev. John Coatsworth officiated, and burial was in the Holly Springs cemetery under the direction of the Woods funeral home of Whiting, la.

Pallbearers were Art Lander, Donald Barnes, John Armstrong, Mitchell Armstrong, Joe Ganoe and Everett Heinle. Mrs. Lucille Miltenburger and Leola Lander were in charge of flower arrangements.

Mrs. Linscott was born January 3, 1878, near Smithland, la. On February 12, 1890, she was married to Elmer E. Linscott, who passed away Junes 7, 1957.

Survivors include five sons, Nathan, Merrill, Cecil and Calvary of Sloan and Wayne of Idaho Falls, Idaho: five daughters, Mrs. Lucille Sumner, Mrs. Ruby Bray and Mrs. Irma Hunter of Sloan, Mrs. Marie Myers of Onawa, Iowa and Mrs. Ruie McKaine of Mission, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Beebe of Hornick and Guy Beebe of Sloan and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bouvia of McCannon, Idaho.
