GALVA, Iowa - Wilbur "Web" LeMoine, 78, of Galva died Sunday in Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Berkemier Funeral Home in Sioux City. The Rev. John Hansen of Riverside Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery.

Mr. LeMoine was born March 17, 1906, in Luton. He moved to Smithland with his family as a child.

He worked in the Moville and Kingsley area as a farm laborer until entering the Army during World War II. He returned to the Kingsley area after the service, where he continued, to work as a farm laborer. He retired three years ago and moved to Galva.

Mr. LeMoine was a Lutheran. He was a member of American Legion Post 140 in Kingsley.

Survivors include two sisters, Edith Gaffey of Le Mars and Bessie Dunhom of Galva.
