Mrs. Louisa Rose, 90, a former resident of Holly Springs, died Wednesday at Mount Vernon, Mo., where she had made her home the last three years.

The body is expected to arrive at Sloan Thursday. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hilts funeral home at Sloan. Burial will be in Memorial park cemetery in Sioux City.

Mrs. Rose was a member of the Evangelical church at German City, Ia. She came to Holly Springs in 1884 from Ohio.

Survivors are seven sons, William of Sloan, Albert of Monte Vista, Cal., Clem and Clarence, both of Mount Vernon, Theodore and Elmer, both of New Raymer, Colo., and Earl of Sheldon, Ia.
