Mrs. Fred Gallagher, 63, Hornick, died Thursday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Gallagher was born July 25, 1897, at Terra Haute, Illinois. She was married to Fred Gallagher December 18, 1917, at Moline, Illinois.

She was a member of the Terre Haute Methodist church.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Frank, of Hornick; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Car and Mrs. Geraldine Lynn, both of Hornick and Mrs. Madge Solorio of Omaha; two brothers, Frank Bowen of Media, Illinois, and Earl Bowen of Galesburg, Illinois, three sisters, Mrs. Dora Wade of Sioux City, Mrs. Roy Boggs, of Dunlap, la., and Mrs. Rose Schafer of Smithshire, Illinois; two grandsons and three step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside. Rev. Gerald Webb of the Open Bible church of Holly Springs will officiate, and burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Earl Hanner, Dean Unkel, Roy Johnston, Marvin Rose and Bernard Forney, all of Hornick, and August Westgaard of Sloan.
