HORNICK, Iowa -- Yetta Louise Gallagher, 86, of Hornick died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holly Springs Bible Fellowship with Pastor Jim Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Willow Township Cemetery at Holly Springs. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the Wood Funeral Home in Sloan.

Mrs. Gallagher was born Nov. 8, 1908, in Hornick, the daughter of John Jacob and Louisa L. (Steinhoff) Claus. She graduated from Hornick High School. She married Roy Raymond Gallagher April 5, 1936, in Hornick. They were lifetime area farmers.

Mrs. Gallagher was a member of Holly Springs Bible Fellowship and Ladies Aid. She taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school. She was a member of the Hornick Senior Citizens and former member of the Hornick Women's Bowling Association.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and her husband, Rayitta and Bob Williams of Columbus, Neb.; a son, Ray of Omaha; two granddaughters, Jacqueline Renee and Jennifer Rae, and a brother, Orval Claus of Onawa.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Iva Roarson and Marian Herron.
