True W. Clayton, 61, 3709 ½ Green avenue, was dead on arrival at a hospital Sunday afternoon after being stricken at his home while working on an automobile.

He was a custodian at the Methodist hospital.

Mr. Clayton was born May 25, 1902, at Hornick. He farmed in Minnesota and near Sergeant Bluff for several years. He married Mrs. Dorothy Grimes March 18, 1946 at Sergeant Bluff. They moved to Sioux City in 1954

Survivors include the widow; two stepsons. James Grimes of Sioux City and Robert Grimes of North Sioux City; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Donna Jones of Riverside, Cal.; a sister, Miss Minnie Clayton of Sioux City, and a brother, Lester Clayton of Portland, Ore.

The body was taken to the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside.

Funeral services for True W. Clayton, 61, 3709 ½ Green avenue, who died Sunday after he was stricken while working on a car at his home will be at 1 p. m. Thursday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside. Rev. Oren Jones of the Baptist church in North Sioux City will officiate. Burial will be in the Holly Springs cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bernard McDermott, Sanford Gorseth, Ralph Lewis, Duane Vanderlinden, Ray Raychart and John Wulf.
