John L. Tysver

John L. Tysver, 81, of Sioux City died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996, at his residence.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Robert Pederson officiating, at Berkemier Funeral Home. Burial will be in McCook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral on Tuesday.

Mr. Tysver was born Jan. 20, 1915, at Mitchell, S.D. He came to Sioux City as a young man. During World War II, he was an airplane mechanic at the Sioux City Air Base. He later worked for many years as an auto mechanic.

Survivors include one step-brother, Ronald Blum of De Kalb, Ill.

Pallbearers include Warren Jackson, Doug Allen, Jessie Knopf, Ron Garrett, Sam Pleasy, and Wayne Street
