Eugene M. Dandurand, 64, 716 Court street, a resident here for seven years, died late Monday in a hospital following a brief illness.
He was born in Washington, Kansas, April 5, 1881. He resided in Anthon for 20 Years.
Surviving are the widow, Cecelia; seven sons, Emil of Le Mars, Orville of Sioux City, Sgt. Clarence and Sgt. Ralph in the Pacific, Sgt. Bernard in Europe, and Cpl. Leon, also in Europe; Ernest, R.D.M. second class with the navy in the pacific: and nine daughters, Mrs. Irene Conley, Mrs. Antone Eickholt, Mrs. Roy Groth, Mrs. Michael O'Harrow, Mrs. Norman Ashmore, Mrs. George Hellinger and Mrs. Edward Groberski, all of Sioux City; Mrs. Leona Jensen of Denver and Miss Ernestine of home; a sister, Mrs. Sifroy Gerard of Elk Point: four brothers, Oliver of Jefferson, S.D.; Alfred of Marshall, Minn.; Paul of Los Angeles and Arthur of Sioux City, and 22 grandchildren.
The Larkin funeral home is directing arrangements.

30 May 1945Funeral services for Eugene M. Dandurand, 64, 716 Court street, who died Monday in a hospital after a brief illness, will be at 9 a. m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rev. Edward C. Lilly will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
The body will be taken from Larkin's funeral home this afternoon to the residence, where the rosary will be said at 8 o'clock tonight.
