Mrs. Tillie Holbrook, Woodbury Resident for 70 Years, Dies

Mrs. Tillie Holbrook, 83, for 70 years a Woodbury county resident, died Sunday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hoover, in Smithland after a long illness.

She was born December 25, 1861, at Perry, la.

Survivors are a son, James of Sioux City; three daughters Mrs. Jessie Wickey of Sioux City; Mrs. Hoover of Smithland, and Mrs. Nellie Parker in California, and 19 grandchildren.

The body was brought to the Westcott - Doughty - Chandler funeral home here.

Funeral services for Mrs. Tillie Holbrook, 83, for 70 years a resident of Woodbury county, who died Sunday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Hoover, in Smithland after a long illness, will be held at 2 o'clock this
afternoon in the Westcott-Doughthy- Chandler chapel. Burial will be in Floyd cemetery
