Joan E. Rowse, 90, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Embassy Care Center in Sergeant Bluff.
Per her wishes, she has been cremated and no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.
Joan was employed by Hinky-Dinky Groceries in Sioux City for 19 years. She was transferred to Tom Thumb Groceries in Dallas, Texas, where she worked for 10 years, and resided in Red Oak, Texas.
She later moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa, and was an apartment manager for 15 years. She retired in 2010.
Joan is survived by her son, Neil Deibert and his wife, Janice of Council Bluffs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Rowse; and her sister, Patsy Loftus of Sioux City.
