Myrna H. Isaacson, 90, of Sioux City died Monday, Dec. 9, 1996, at a local nursing home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Allen D. Call officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Mrs. Isaacson was born April 10, 1906, in Maurice, Iowa, the daughter of J.C. and Mary (Meese) Harrison. She graduated from high school in Alton, Iowa and from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1927. She married Elmer M. Isaacson on Feb. 12, 1929, in Elk Point, S.D. He died Dec. 11, 1975.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Milwaukee Womens Club, the Serendipity Church Circle, and a past president pf the PTA at Smith Villa School.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Ross and Laura of Kingwood, Texas; a daughter and her husband, Harriet and Richard Strand of Tucker, Ga.; five grandchildren, Laura and Steven Strand, Susan Ivey, and Mac and Jana Isaacson; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marion Conley of Sioux Falls, S.D.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clint, Merrill and Max.
Memorials may be given in her name to the First United Methodist Church.
