HINTON, Iowa -(Died Sioux City)

Mildred Emma Hageman, 83, of Hinton died Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hinton the Rev. Michael Boykin officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.

Mrs. Hageman was born Feb. 21, 1913, in Kingsley, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Steffens) Ludwig. She married Marvin "Buck" Hageman on June 6, 1936, in Sioux City. She was employed with the Ye Ole Taveran in Sioux City.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and had worked as a janitor at the church. She was a member of Trinity Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Lamont and Lois of Le Mars, Iowa; two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Donald Waring of Hinton and LaDonna and Dennis Newberg of Merrill, Iowa; a sister, Erma Anderson of Hinton; five grandchildren, Bill Waring, Patti Waring Harvey, Nicole and Brian Newberg, and Kim Hageman; three great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Opal Ludwig and Irene Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Randy and Patti Harvey, Bill and Michelle Waring, Nicole and Brian Newberg, Todd Goodwin, and Kim Hageman.
