After an illness of one day. Mrs. Edna Mae Farr, 65, 3208 Summit street, died at a hospital Wednesday afternoon.

She was the widow of Jewett C. Farr, formerly a livestock dealer, who died here in June, 1944. Mrs. Farr was born in Denison, Ia., March 6, 1880, and had lived in Sioux City 29 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. G. F. Peceny, and a son, Don Farr, both of Sioux City; a brother, Fred Erickson of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home, Rev. F. B. Shaner of St. Thomas Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
