SIOUX CITY - Warren E. Wesley, 87, of Sioux City passed away on Friday, May l, 2009, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Morningside Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave.
Warren was born on May 28, 1921, in Sioux City, to Charles and Marie (Hicks) Wesley. He graduated from Central High School in 1940. After graduation, he served his country during World War II in the U.S. Marines Corps.
Warren worked as a clerk at International Harvester for over 30 years. He was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Wesley of Sioux City; two daughters, Rita (Doug) Brown of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Diana Wesley (Dustin Barton) of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Brown and Kendall and Jordan Barton; a niece; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Wesley; and a sister, Betty Fish.
