Frances L. "Teenie" Cadwallader, 83, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009, following a brief illness at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hubbard, Neb., with the Rev. Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Hubbard. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.

Frances was born June 11, 1925, to William and Emma (Fleming) Dyer. She was raised in the South Bottoms area of Sioux City. She married Charles Cadwallader on April 28, 1960, in Sioux City. They resided in Sergeant Bluff. Charles passed away on Nov. 25, 2004.

Frances worked at several packing plants including, Cudahy's, Armour and after 30 years, she retired from Swift. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for the family, watching "CSI" and enjoying watching the grand-kids grow up. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church.

Frances is survived by her son, Billy and his wife, Amy of Lawton, Iowa; a daughter, Chris and her husband, Keith Kilpatrick of Sergeant Bluff; a son, Dick Harper and his wife, Alison of Sioux City; five grandchildren, Emily Cadwallader of Lawton, Megan Kilpatrick of North Sioux City, Seth and Curtis Harper of Sioux City, and Casey Harper of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; a son, Pat Harper; a stepson, Mick Cadwallader; two brothers, Robert and Joe Dyer; and five sisters, Pat Pirog, Josephine Derby, Margaret Dyer, Veronica Napier and Mary Braunger.
