SIOUX CITY - Lory Lynn Ludwigs, 45, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly at her residence on June 23, 2009.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Third Presbyterian Church in Sioux City. Nelson- Berger Northside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Burial of her cremains was held June 27 in the Logan Park Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 8, 1963, in Sioux City, the daughter of Delbert (Pete) and Margaret (James) Breland. She graduated from North High School. She was married to Brian Ludwigs in 1983. The marriage later ended. She was employed with Sears for 12 years and later GSA for 12 years.

Lory loved to garden and she enjoyed her flowers. She also enjoyed being outdoors, watching Oprah and Dr. Phil. She also had a passion for her rescue dogs and listening to music and going to concerts. She was a past member of the Third Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her step father Delbert and mother Margaret Breland of Sioux, City; two daughters, Sunnie Ludwigs of Sioux City and Miles Ludwigs of Bronson, Iowa; two brothers, Jim James of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Paul James and girlfriend Jill Reddings of Huntington Beach, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Isaac and Evelyn James.
